This innerwear series, one of TOQUE's most popular, is made from 100% royal baby alpaca. The fine-count royal baby alpaca yarn was specially spun by Towa Keori in Aichi Prefecture, a famous producer of alpaca yarn. The fabric is knitted in a factory in Saitama Prefecture on 40-50 year old German TERROT knitting machines, which are rarely found and still in use today. These machines are skilled at slowly knitting delicate fabrics and have been carefully maintained by the factory's craftsmen for many years.

Royal baby alpaca yarn is extremely delicate, and if the knitting machine speed is increased, the fabric can tear or become damaged. Therefore, it takes three times longer to knit than cotton yarn, resulting in a fabric that is "warm, light, and soft." In addition, to preserve the unique texture of alpaca without damaging the fabric, natural drying is preferred over tumble drying, even though it takes longer, resulting in an exceptionally fluffy feel. Due to the loose knit that brings out this texture, the fabric has a slightly sheer quality.

Considering direct contact with the skin, the seams are placed on the inside to prevent them from irritating the skin. The stretchy fabric provides a comfortable fit without constriction, making it so comfortable you might forget you're wearing it. Furthermore, the design is warm and covers the stomach well, making it perfect for warming activities. The 9-part length is also set to be discreet when worn under pants or skirts.
