A nylon x shrunken leather version is now available exclusively at AMARC!

A collaboration with the hugely popular handbag brand "VASIC" has been realized! We had them create an AMARC exclusive of VASIC's classic and iconic "Bond Mini."

The "Bond Mini" is a model that Naoko Okusa herself uses. Its rounded silhouette exudes natural elegance, and the ingenious design that conceals most of the hardware means it doesn't interfere with your outfit, blending seamlessly with any style. It was a massive hit in Japan, with some types and colors becoming "phantom bags" that were difficult to obtain.

It can be used as a handbag, of course, but by extending the handle, it can also be used as a shoulder bag, allowing you to easily change its silhouette depending on the amount of luggage and your outfit for the day. Despite its mini size, it boasts enough storage capacity to fit a 500ml plastic bottle.

The special point of the AMARC exclusive is the choice of "nylon" as the main material. This brings a sporty feel and lightness. However, to maintain a luxurious feel without being too casual, leather is partially used on the handles and fabric edges. We chose beige for the color to match various styles.

The bag doesn't overstate itself, yet it's not too simple, making it versatile for both on and off-duty. We hope you will enjoy this bag, filled with the dedication of VASIC and Naoko Okusa.

Hello everyone, I'm Naoko Okusa. This year, VASIC celebrates its 10th anniversary. Many of you probably own their innovative Bond bag, don't you?
VASIC, launched by Kanoko-san who lives in New York, quickly became hugely popular thanks to its chic design that doesn't overtly display logos or hardware, yet feels somewhat trendy and light, and above all, is priced such that it's "achievable with a little effort."

My connection with Kanoko-san goes back to when I was the editor-in-chief of mi-mollet, and I (suddenly) took a street snap of her in New York (because she was so wonderful). That must have been about nine years ago.
And that's when I learned she was a hairstylist active in international magazines and advertising, and by coincidence, I also discovered that I had been buying candles she made out of her passion, in New York. I still remember how moved I was, realizing how human connections and connections to things link together.
Our relationship continued through leases and other dealings, and a few years ago, we did a triple collaboration with Gallardagalante for a "white Bond," and I witnessed customers lining up for the bag even before the store opened, a testament to its popularity.

And now, finally! An original collaboration has been realized at the AMARC LIFE STORE!
We commissioned the iconic Bond Mini in nylon x shrunken leather. The chic beige, with this mix of different materials, turned out beautifully and glamorously, making both Kanoko-san and me emotional when we saw the finished product (this is true).

And now, with the call for cashless lifestyles, we also created a lightweight nylon trifold wallet at the same time, wanting a wallet that could be carried lightly. It fits into pockets and small bags, and I'm very satisfied with the result. When I opened it up, I found that the bright brown I chose was this year's lucky color! That was an unexpected bonus. I got a little excited, but I think you can understand how much I've been looking forward to this day.
