Hello everyone, it's Naoko Okusa. I've been using UTIPPA slippers for a few years now, and I’m so excited to have had the chance to collaborate on them. Have you ever seen such cute recovery slippers? In fact, "looks aside," they are categorized as a general medical device because the stimulation of the peripheral nerves in the soles of the feet through walking improves blood flow. I put them on as soon as I get home and basically wear them whenever I'm in the house. I can immediately tell that the burden on my lower back is reduced and the impact on my ankles is softened. I feel like my feet are less prone to swelling, and most of all, the lower back issues I used to have, like recurring back strain, have decreased dramatically. Not only that, but the constant, dull lower back ache has almost disappeared. Oh, and another unexpected benefit is that I no longer have those "near-trips" on flat surfaces. I think it's because my feet are properly fitted to the arch of the insole, allowing me to better grip the floor.

Until now, I used the quilted type, but I kept thinking how nice it would be to have a fluffy, plush upper like this—not just for winter, but for those summer days when the AC makes your feet cold—so I decided on it right there during our meeting. And by adding a sporty line to the heel, I think we managed to achieve a look that is "not just cute, but somehow fashionable." Many people wear leather or fabric slippers at home, but the shock from the floor actually "hits" the body quite hard.
